# Add akubela SL21 Lock

You can add akubela SL21 locks to residents’ apartments in community and single-family house projects.

## For Community Projects

1. Log in to the cloud with your account.
2. Navigate to the target community by clicking ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-WORRPPFZ.png).
3. Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-GEKYWWGZ.png) of the target apartment.
4. Find the **Smart Locks** section and click **New**.
5. Select **SL21** in the model dropdown menu.
6. Enter the lock’s MAC and name it.

1. Submit the setting.

## For Single-Family House Projects

1. Log in to the cloud with your account.
2. Select **Single-Family House**.
3. Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-MYQSV5SF.png)of the target user **>** **Smart Locks > New**.
4. Select **SL21** in the model dropdown menu.
5. Enter the lock’s MAC and name it.

1. Submit the setting.

After adding the lock, end users can configure the network of the lock and add credentials on their SmartPlus Apps.
