This guide is only applicable to door phones X912, R27, and R28 Series. Take X912 for example.
Note
- For other door phones, card adding is contained in the steps of adding users. Please refer to the article Unlock Door to see the steps of adding cards directly on the device screen and on the device web interface.
Enter Card Adding Screen
Cards need to be added on the advanced setting page.
- Press the Key icon on the device screen or keypad.
- Enter the system PIN, which is 2396 by default. Press
on the keypad for confirmation.

- To enter the card adding page, press Advanced Settings and then Admin Access.
Add Cards
- Press Modify Admin Card and then Add Admin Card.
2. Place the card on the screen area and it will appears "Adding card succeeded" after adding successfully.
Note
To see card data, log into the device web interface. And navigate to User interface.
- X912: Directory > User
- R27 and R28: Intercom > User
