Senario
Akuvox indoor monitor support automatic and manual capture. The automatic capture would be taken when the call is received on the indoor monitor. In addition to automatic capture, you can also take some pictures during monitoring or calling manually. You can track the capture logs to see who was operating the door phone. For example, if the parents are not home during the day and only their children are there, they can check the capture log when they get home to see who was trying to visit them during the daytime.
On the device web interface, navigate to Contacts >Call Loge.
Operation Instruction
- When devices go into preview, the indoor monitors automatically take a capture after the capture delay.
- The capture delay is configurable.
Operation Procedure
- Login to the indoor monitor's web interface and select the capture delay as needed.
- Configure the upper limit properly.
- After that, the device will automatically capture within capture delay time.
- You can also press the capture button during the monitor or calling interface.
After you finish
- For Linux indoor monitor, you can export the capture from the device web interface Upgrade - Advanced - Capture log.
- For the Android indoor monitor, you can check the capture on the device side Applications - ExplorerMini, go to the path /mnt/sdcard/Pictures/Capture.

Please ensure the video is displayed in the preview, otherwise, the capture will be failed.
The default capture delay is 5s.
There is an upper limit for capturing images. When captures exceed the upper limit, the new capture will replace the oldest capture.
