How to register face ID correctly?

Prev Next
  1. Quality Standards

A quality facial photo should not be distorted, overexposed, too dark, blurred, or disproportionate, as these issues make facial features difficult to identify. Additionally, if the face is covered by a hat, mask, or other items, or if the photo is not taken from a live person, identification may not be possible. To avoid distorted images, it is recommended to take photos indoors.

  1. Recommended Face Angle

The face enrolled should be in front view. Raise or lower your head by no more than 30 degrees, turn your head left or right by no more than 25 degrees, and tilt your head left or right by no more than 30 degrees.

  1. Distance Recommendation

Ensure that the face is captured within a distance of more than 40 cm and less than 1 meter from the camera.

There should be at least 10% margin space around the face in the image.

  1. Image format requirement

Use images in .jpg, .png, or .bmp format. The facial image should not be rotated.

  1. Size specification

Make sure the images have a sufficient resolution. The device can recognize images that are larger than 250 x 250 pixels.
