Scenario

Akuvox Door Phone allows you to customize the various types of icon and screen display settings for your personalized needs. This article helps you walk through the process for the screen display configuration on the following different models of Akuvox door phone.

Operation Instruction

- This article is applicable to X915, X916, R29, E16, E18

Operation Procedure

-R29 Screen Display

Adjust R29 Screen Background ( Foreground & Background)
1. Navigate to Intercom > Advanced > UI.
2. Select foreground and background colors: Default, Black, White (default setting), and Custom (for customized setting).
3. Adjust the color with the square-round icon to select the color you want.

Note

This setting is applicable to Building mode, Villa mode, and Office mode.

Upload R29 Contact list Background Pictures

Navigate to Phone > Import/Export > Import Contact Background(.png)
Select and Upload the picture to the device.

Note

The pictures uploaded should be in png format.
This function can be applied to both the home screen background and contact list screen background.
The recommended picture resolution is 800*1280.

Set R29 Time Display Background

Navigate to Phone > Import/Export > Time View Background (.png).
Select and Upload the picture.

Set R29 Homescreen Icon display ( Build mode, Villa mode, office mode)

1. Buiding Mode Icon Display

1. Navigate to Intercom > Key/Display > Key In Homepage Of The Building Theme.

2. Select and name the icon and enter the value for the " Speed Dial" icon.

3. Navigate to Intercom > Key/Display >Select Icons if you want to change the reception icon.

Note

select the tab type corresponding to the ID order which indicates the tab position. For example, if you want to make the Temp Key tab to be displayed in position one of tab row one, you can click to select the type of ID order 1.

b. Villa Mode Icon Display

Click Intercom > Key/Display >View Control Of The Villa Theme
Select "Home page" for the "three-round icon" home screen display, or select " Dial", "Contact" and " Password " for the home screen display.
Select "Invisible" if you want to hide the corresponding icon on the home screen.

Villa Mode (Homepage) Villa Mode ( Contact, PIN, Call )

Note

“Homepage” type home screen display will be denied if all of the icons are set “ Invisible”.

-X916 Screen Display Configuration

Set up X 916 Homescreen Background Configuration (VMS mode).

Navigate to Intercom > Key/Display > Import Customization(VMS Theme).
Select and upload a background picture.

Note

A background picture with 955 X 972 pixels is recommended.
