Open the Door via NFC

With NFC-featured mobile phones, users can open doors contactlessly and conveniently.

Note

ONLY Android mobile phones support the NFC door-opening feature.

What You Should Know

1. The NFC feature works with the SmartPlus Cloud. Make sure the door phone is added to the Cloud.

2. The following models support opening doors via NFC: 

S539, R29, R28, R27, E18, E16, E12, E11, A01/2/3, A05, A08.

In this article, we take R29 as an example.

Steps

To open doors via NFC, configure the NFC feature on the door phone, SmartPlus App, and users’ mobile phones.

On Door Phone

1. Log into the device's web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.

2. Navigate to the Intercom > Card Setting interface

3. Enable the NFC feature and click Submit to save the configuration.

On SmartPlus App

Users need to enable the NFC function in their SmartPlus app.

Open the app, tap Me > Authorization, and enable NFC.

On Mobile Phone

Users need to turn on the NFC feature on their mobile phones.

The configuration varies by mobile phone brand. Please refer to the mobile phone manuals.

After the configuration, users can open doors by placing their mobile phones near the device's card reader area.
