# Open the Door via NFC

With NFC-featured mobile phones, users can use SmartPlus Apps to open doors contactlessly and conveniently.

> 
> ONLY Android mobile phones support the NFC door-opening feature.

## What You Should Know

1. The NFC feature works with the SmartPlus Cloud. The door phone should be deployed on the Cloud.

2. The following models support opening doors via NFC:

- S539, S538, S535, S532, X916, X915, X912, X910, R29, R28, R27, R20 Series, R25 Series, E18, E16, E13, E12, E11, A01/2/3, A05, and A08.

This article takes R29 as an example.

To open doors via NFC, configure the NFC feature on the door phone, SmartPlus App, and users’ mobile phones.

## On Door Phone

1. Use the device IP to log into the device's web interface. The default username and password are both **admin**.

2. Navigate to the **Access Control > Card Setting** interface

3. Enable the NFC feature and click Submit to save the configuration.

## On SmartPlus App

Users need to enable the NFC function in their SmartPlus Apps.

Tap **Me > Authorization,** and enable NFC.

## On Mobile Phone

Users need to turn on the NFC feature on their mobile phones.

The configuration varies by mobile phone brand. Please refer to the phone manuals for instructions.

After the configuration, users can open doors by placing their mobile phones near the device's card reader area.

> The distance between the mobile phone and the door phone should be within 3 cm.
