# Integration with Milesight NVR

Akuvox SmartPlus can be integrated with Milesight NVR, allowing users to view its live stream and playback.

Both installers and end users can add the Milesight NVR.

## For Installers

Log in to the SmartPlus Cloud with your installer account.

### Community Projects

#### Add NVR to the Public Area

1. Navigate to the desired project by clicking ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-U95WTKRT.png) on the **Sites** module.
2. Select **Public Area** or the building where the device is installed.
3. Click **Third-Party Devices** **> NVR** **> New**.

1. Enter the NVR name, NVR address, username, and password.
2. If the NVR is a public device, you can enable/disable **Allow user to monitor this device**. This decides whether end users can view the live stream of the NVR with their SmartPlus Apps.

1. Click Submit.

#### Add NVR to a Specific Apartment

1. Navigate to the desired project by clicking ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-U95WTKRT.png) on the **Sites** module.
2. Select the target building.

1. Scroll to the **Third Party Devices** section and select **NVR**.
2. Click **New** on the right.

1. Enter the NVR name, NVR address, username, and password.

1. Click Submit.

### Single-Family House Projects

1. Click **Third Party Devices > NVR > New**.
2. Enter the NVR name, NVR address, username, and password.

1. Click Submit.

## For Property Managers

After your installers add the NVR to the public areas on SmartPlus Cloud, you can check the device information on the property manager web portal and view its live stream with the SmartPlus App.

1. Log in to the SmartPlus Cloud platform with your account.
2. Click **Devices > Third Party Devices > NVR**.
3. Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-WPHAIK9L.png) to modify the NVR’s settings. You can set whether end users can view the live stream from the NVR.

On the SmartPlus App, tap **Monitor** to view the live stream and tap **Playback** to view the playback.

On the monitor page, you can tap:

- **Snapshot** to take a screenshot.
- **Sound** to turn on the sound or mute.
- **PTZ** to zoom in/out. This is effective for cameras that can be remotely controlled.
- **SD** to switch between HD(High Definition) and SD(Standard Definition).
- **Modify Channel Name** to change the camera name with a maximum of 32 characters.

## For End Users

Only with family master accounts can you add the Milesight NVR.

> The SmartPlus App version should be 7.20.3 for iOS and 7.20.0003 for Android or higher.

1. Tap **Me > Device Management > Third-party Devices**.
2. Tap + in the upper-right corner.
3. Select the **Milesight** brand.
4. Enter the NVR name, NVR address, username, and password.

1. Tap Submit.

Tap **Monitor** on the homepage to view the live stream; tap **Playback** to view the playback.
