Integration with Tuya

Tuya, as the first IoT to be listed, has left Control4, Crestron and many other top smart home brands far behind. The rise of Tuya is bound to drive a new round of change in the Home-automation industry, So we are now vigourisly promoting the compatibity with Tuya.

After the compatibility is completed, indoor monitor now acts as a bridge between Tuya and door phone, thus realizing the communication between each other. It will transfer the audio call and opening door command from Tuya cloud to the door phone, transfer video and audio from door phone to Tuya.

Users can now check the surveillance videos from door phone or remotely open the door for visitors via the Tuya APP on their phone.

Before Start

1.C315 Tuya version (the current test version is 115.30.215.911, requiring manual input of UUID).

2.Any Akuvox door phone.

3.Tuya mobile app (installed on customer's mobile phone).

4.Tuya tablet App (installed on the indoor monitor).

5. A computer, connect to the same LAN with the C315.

Principle

Akuvox’s indoor monitor is installed with Tuya’s SDK, Tuya can identify the indoor monitor via UUID generated, thus the binding of indoor monitor and Tuya cloud is completed. Door phone is connected to the indoor monitor over LAN.

Procedures

Upgrade C315
1.Open a browser at the computer, and input the IP address of C315, it will appear the login UI.

2.Use admin/admin to login, admin/admin is default user name and password.

3.After login, find theUpgrade tab and click Basic.

4.Click Select tab, and choose the new firmware under the folder.

5.Click Submit tab to upgrade firmware.

Configure Tuya license
1.After the upgrade is completed, login again to web UI, and under Phone tab, you will find Tuya

2.Here you need to configure UUID (for testing version, in the future, no need this step)

3.After submit the configuration ,you need to reboot device. and at device side, More→Settings, you can see tuya icon.

4.Open the APP, two QR codes will pop out, one is for downloading Tuya Smart, the other is for binding.Scan the binding code and bind the tuya Smart.
