0:00--Overview

0:18--Use POE or POE+ for Network and Power Supply

1:18--Use a 12-Volt Adapter for Power Supply and RJ45 for Network

> [!NOTE]
> Note
>
> - The wiring distance for POE and POE+ is estimated under ideal conditions. Please adjust the actual wiring length based on the actual scenarios.
> - In most installations, connect Akuvox devices to a PoE switch (PoE/PoE+). Direct connection to a router is only possible if the router’s LAN port provides PoE output (PSE) with sufficient power; otherwise, use a PoE switch or a PoE injector.
> - As for the wire length when the device is powered by a 12V adapter, refer to the device’s [quick guide](https://knowledge.akuvox.com/docs/device-installation).
