Reset Device Web Password via PC Manager

Users may forget passwords for logging into the device web interface. PC manager can be used to reset the password if the device is not connected to Akuvox Cloud.

Step 1

After installing the PC Manager, enter the username and password to log in. The default is admin.

Step 2

After logging in, keep clicking on the icon in the upper left corner until a window pops up. Enter the username and password to log into the developer page. The default is admin.

Step 3

• Select the desired node to create a new autop command. Here, we choose Door > Security > Basic as an example.

• Click New Configuration.

Step 4

• In Type, choose Input。

• Enter the command name in the Display Name box.

• Fill the autop command in the Command box:
  Config.Settings.WEB_LOGIN.Password

• Click Save.

A new autop command will be created.

You can tap the command to enter the password, for example, admin.

Step 5

Close the developer page, and the home page will show up.

• Click the node where the autop command has been created.

• Tick the box of the autop command.

• Click Submit.

Step 6

• Select the device to carry out the action on the left node tree.

• Tick the box before the device information.

• Click Select Path to export the log file to a local folder.

• Click Submit.

The device's web password will be reset to admin.
