The duress code is a special PIN designed for emergency situations.
When a valid duress code is entered, the door is unlocked as usual, while the configured Action URL is sent to notify external systems or initiate predefined actions.

Step 1: Add the Duress Code for a User
Navigate to the device IP in a browser. Log in with the username and password(admin/admin by default).
Go to Directory > User.
Click +Add to add a user. Or, click
to modify a current one. Enter the code(4-6 digits) in the Duress Code section.

Click Submit after finishing other access settings.
Note
Each duress code should be unique, not the same as the public PIN, private PIN, or duress codes assigned to other users.
Step 2: Set up the Action URL
Go to Setting > Action URL.
Enable the Action URL feature.
Enter the URL to be sent in the Duress Code Alarm field.

Click Submit.
Step 3: Test the Setup
After configuration, test the duress code by entering it for door opening. Ensure that the Action URL is sent to the designated server as intended.
