# SmartPlus User App Password Reset

Installers and property managers can reset the SmartPlus App’s login password for users. Users can also reset the password themselves on the SmartPlus App.

## Reset on Installer Cloud Platform

1. Log in to the cloud platform with an installer account.
2. Navigate to the target project type: Community, Commercial, or Single-Family Site.

### Community

2. Click **Reset Password**.

### Commercial

2. Go to **User > Personnel**.

1. Click **Reset Password** in the upper-right corner.

### Single-Family Site

2. Click **Reset Password** in the lower-right corner.

### Result

The user will receive an email containing the new password and QR code.

## Reset on Property Manager Cloud Platform

1. Log in to the SmartPlus Cloud platform with a property manager account.

1. Click **Reset Password** on the right.

The user will receive an email containing the new password and QR code.

## Reset on SmartPlus App by Users

Reset via Email or mobile phone number.

### Reset via Email

1. Tap **Forget Password** on the login screen.

1. Select the account type between **Enduser** and **Property Manager**, and enter the email address used to log into the app.

1. Click **Submit**.

The user will then receive an email with a reset link.

### Reset via Mobile Phone Number

Only when users provide their mobile phone numbers to installers can they reset passwords via phone numbers.

1. Tap **Try to reset via SMS** to switch the view.

1. Select the area code by tapping ![图片.png](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/%E5%9B%BE%E6%A0%87(1).png).
2. Enter the mobile phone number and tap **Obtain Code** to receive the verification code.

1. Enter the new password and confirm it.

5. Click **Submit**.

The prompt "**Modify Password Successful**" will pop up after the password is reset.
