# Unlock with Apple Wallet

Apple Wallet Access allows you to use your iPhone or Apple Watch as a contactless credential to unlock authorized doors.

This guide explains how to enable Apple Wallet access in the SmartPlus App.

> Note
> 
> - Apple Wallet Access is unavailable in Mainland China, Nepal, and Vietnam.
> - It is a paid feature. Contact your property management to activate the subscription before you can set it up.

## Before You Start

- **Supported SmartPlus App version**: 7.50.0003(Android)/7.50.3(iOS) or later.
- **Supported OS Versions:** iPhone: iOS 17 or later; Apple Watch: watchOS 8.0 or later.

## Configuration

1. Go to **Me > Authorization**.

1. Tap **Apple Wallet Pass.**
2. Tap **Add to Apple Wallet**.

1. Tap **Add**.

After adding successfully, the card will appear in your Apple Wallet.

## Verification

Tap your iPhone or Apple Watch at a supported device reader to confirm the door opens.

> Note
> 
> - By default, Express Mode is turned on when the card is added, so you can hold your device near the reader and the door opens without unlocking your phone.
> - If Express Mode is turned off, you'll need to unlock your phone first before tapping the reader.

## Troubleshooting

| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Cannot add the card in the app. | Feature not enabled or not yet paid. | Confirm the Apple Wallet option is enabled, and payment is completed on the account. |
| Card still appears in Apple Wallet after being removed from the app. | Removing the card from the app does not sync the removal to Apple Wallet. | This is expected — once removed from the app, the card can no longer be used to open the door, even though it still appears in Wallet. |
