# Upgrade Devices via Local Auto-Provisioning

Akuvox intercom devices can be upgraded through local auto-provisioning conveniently.

## Configuration File Name for Different Models

Akuvox intercom devices support two kinds of files for auto-provisioning.

- **The general configuration file** is used for auto-provisioning on multiple devices of the same model. Please refer to the following charts for file name rules.
- **The MAC-based configuration file** is used for auto-provisioning on a specific device. The file name should be the device’s MAC address.
