The LED display content varies depending on the parking scenario. For example, it can display the recognized license plate during vehicle entry/exit, display access result prompts, or show the number of available parking spaces. ## Prerequisites Before configuring the LED display, make sure the following requirements are met: - The door phone has been added to the SmartPlus Cloud with Smart Parking configured. - The LED display screen is physically connected to the door phone through RS485. - Supported LED display screen brands: Wuxi Opto and SNT. - LPR camera compatibility: The LED display integration has been tested with Milesight LPR cameras only. The following device models and minimum versions support the feature. | Model | Minimum Version | | --- | --- | | R29 | 29.30.10.740 | | S538 | 538.30.10.722 | | S539 | 539.30.10.711 | ## Configure LED Display Connection The door phone supports connection to up to five LED displays through RS485. Each LED display must be configured with a unique RS485 address. 1. Navigate to the device IP address in a browser. Log in with the username and password(admin/admin by default). 2. Go to **Device > RS485**. 3. Select **LED Display Screen** in the **Apply RS485 Setting To** dropdown list. 4. Configure the communication settings. - **Baud Rate:** Select the baud rate used by the connected LED display. The default value is 115200. - **Brand:** Select the brand of the connected LED display. The available address settings vary depending on the selected brand. - **RS485 Address:** Configure a unique address for each LED display. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-VRYT94V3.png) 1. Click **+Add LED** to add additional LED displays. 2. Click Submit. ## Configure License Plate Display The door phone can display recognized license plate information on the connected LED display during vehicle access. ### Configure Display Duration 1. Go to **Device > RS485 > License Plate LED Display Duration**. 2. Configure the display duration parameters. - **Waiting Display Duration:** Defines how long the recognized license plate remains displayed while the device is waiting for the cloud response. The default is 30 seconds. - **Extra Display Duration:** Defines how long the recognized license plate and prompt remain displayed after the cloud response is received. The default is 10 seconds. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-VJ9ELCX7.png) 1. Click Submit. > [!NOTE] > New License Plate Priority > > If a new license plate is recognized during the **Extra Display Duration**, the current display is interrupted and switched to the new license plate and its corresponding prompt. ### Link LED Display with LPR Camera To display the license plate recognition result from an LPR camera, associate the LED display with the corresponding camera. Before linking the LED display to an LPR camera, configure the camera's API settings as described in [Integrate with LPR Cameras for Door Opening](https://knowledge.akuvox.com/docs/integration-with-milesight-lpr-camera-for-door-opening#milesight-camera). Make sure the API configuration includes the required `MAC` field. 1. Go to **Setting > Key/Display**. 2. Scroll down to the **LPR Camera Setting** section. 3. Select the configured LED number for the target LPR camera in the **LED Display** dropdown list. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-WQZCHU5X.png) 1. Click Submit. ## Configure Prompt Text Display The door phone allows you to customize prompt messages displayed on the LED display for different parking scenarios. 1. Go to **Setting > Key/Display > Prompt Setting**. 2. You can customize prompt texts for various parking scenarios. The display time follows the **Extra Display Duration** in the [Configure License Plate Display](/v1/docs/configure-led-parking-space-display-on-r29#configure-license-plate-display) section. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-2AYYYGDE.png) ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f09a6106-e976-455e-b2d0-3d88b5385960/Images/Documentation/image-2V2ZJPWT.png) 1.
