3.007  DPT Dimming control

This communication object is used to trigger a relative dimming operation.

When the message value is 1…7, the dimming decreases. Within this range, the larger the value, the smaller the decrement; 1 produces the largest decrease, while 7 produces the smallest. 0 stops the dimming.

When the message value is 9…15, the dimming increases. Within this range, the larger the value, the smaller the increment; 9 produces the largest increase, while 15 produces the smallest. 8 stops the dimming.

18.001  DPT SceneControl

This communication object sends an 8-bit message to recall or store a scene. The meaning of the 8-bit data is detailed as follows.

Assume the 8-bit data is represented in binary as: FXNNNNNN

  • F: 0 to recall a scene; 1 to store a scene.

  • X: 0

  • NNNNNN: Scene number (0…63)

The parameter setting options are 1…64, but the scene message actually received by the “Scene” communication object corresponds to 0…63. For example, if the parameter is set to Scene 1, the “Scene” communication object receives a message value of 0, as shown below:
