Auto-answer feature enables Akuvox indoor monitors to pick up calls automatically, especially from trusted contacts.
All Akuvox indoor monitors support this feature. This article takes C313 as an example.
Enable Auto-Answer for SIP Calls
Before using auto-answer for SIP calls, make sure the device's SIP account is registered.

Use the device IP to log into the device's web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.
Go to Account > Advanced > SIP Account. Select the registered SIP account to apply the auto-answer feature. For example, if you select Account 1, SIP calls made to the account will be answered automatically.

Go to Phone > Call Feature > Auto Answer Allowlist interface, and enter the calling device's SIP number and its location to distinguish it from others.
Click +Add to save the settings.

Set the indoor monitor to automatically answer calls from all Akuvox intercom devices or exclusively from other indoor monitors.
Answer calls from all devices:
Go to Account > Advanced > Call interface and enable Auto Answer.

Answer calls exclusively from indoor monitors:
Go to Phone > Call Feature > Others interface and enable Indoor Auto Answer.

Enable Auto-Answer for IP Calls
Before using auto-answer for IP calls, make sure that the calling and called devices are within the same local network and that the direct IP function is turned on. Check the function on the Phone > Call Feature > Others interface.
Use the device IP to log into its web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.
Scroll down to Auto Answer Allowlist, and enter the calling device's IP number and its location name to distinguish it from others.
Click +Add to save the settings.

Set the indoor monitor to automatically answer calls from all Akuvox intercom devices or exclusively from other indoor monitors.
Answer calls from all devices:
Go to Account > Advanced > Call interface and enable Auto Answer.

Answer calls exclusively from indoor monitors:
Go to Phone > Call Feature > Others interface and enable Indoor Auto Answer.

Optional Configuration
Auto-answer delay time determines how many seconds it will take the device to answer the call.
Set Auto Answer Delay on the Device/Phone > Call Feature > Others interface. For example, if you set it as 3, the device will answer the call after 3 seconds when receiving it.
