Akuvox door phones can send screenshots to the designated FTP server when specific events happen. This helps you track what happened to the device.
This article takes R20 as an example.
Note
All Akuvox door phones and access control terminal A05 support this feature.
Set up FTP Notification
Use the device IP to log into its web interface. The initial username and password are admin.
Click Setting > Action. Find the FTP Notification part.
Fill in the FTP server address. Please use the IP address instead of the domain name which the device may fail to resolve.
Fill in the username and password if you have set the authentication to access the FTP server.
You can click FTP Test to test whether the door phone can establish a connection with the FTP server. It will send a screenshot to the server and display the result after testing.

Click Submit.
Enable FTP Action
Then, specify which event will trigger the FTP action.
For example, R20A support the FTP action when swiping cards on the device, triggering inputs, detecting motion, pressing the push button to make calls, etc.
Here takes the motion detection event as an example.
Click Surveillance > Motion.
Select the desired motion detection type.
Check FTP as the action to execute.

Click Submit.
When the device detects motion, a screenshot will be sent to the FTP server.
