Property Managers (PMs) can grant time-limited door access to visitors and couriers without creating permanent users. These keys can be created from the SmartPlus Cloud or the SmartPlus App and shared via email or other methods.
Note
The temp key for couriers is a PIN code, and for visitors, it contains a QR code.
The following device models support opening the door via scanning a temp QR code:
S539, S535, X916, X915, X912, R29, E18, E16, and A05.
When to Use Courier vs Visitor Keys
Use Courier keys when:
Access is only needed for delivery.
Limited floor access is required.
Simple credential configuration is sufficient.
Use Visitor keys when:
Access to apartments is required.
Multiple doors need to be accessed.
Validity period or repeat access is required.
Create Temp Keys On the SmartPlus Web Portal
Create Courier Keys
Log in to the cloud with your PM account.
Click Visitor & Staff > Delivery Auth and then New in the upper-right corner.
Enter the courier's name.
Enter the PIN code and/or RF card code.
Select the floor number that the courier can access.
Select the access group that defines when the courier can use the key.

Submit the setting.

After the temp key is created, it will also display on the SmartPlus App Temp Key page.
For convenience, you can check and share the key via the SmartPlus App.

Create Visitor Keys
Log in to the cloud with your PM account.
Click Visitor & Staff and then New in the upper-right corner.
Select the building and apartment.
Enter the visitor's name and customize the ID number.
Select the Repeat Mode that determines how often the visitor can use the key.
Select the number of Validity Times Per Device that determines how many times the visitor can open doors using the temp key on the selected door phone(s).
Note
Configure this option ONLY when the Never mode is applied.
Configure the time range when the visitor can open doors.

Select the door that the visitor can open.
You can enter the visitor's email address to receive the temp key or later share it through the desired method.

Submit the settings.

Create Temp Keys On the SmartPlus App
Tap Temp Key on the home page or tap Me > Authorization > Temp Keys.
Tap + in the upper-right corner.
Select the building and apartment.
Enter the visitor's name.
In the Email field, enter the visitor's email address to receive the temp key or later share it through the desired method.
Customize the ID number.
Select the Repeat Mode from Never, Daily, or Weekly, which determines how often the visitor can use the key.
Select the number of Each Door Counts that determines how many times the visitor can open doors using the temp key on the selected door phone(s).

Configure this option ONLY when the Never mode is applied.
Select the door(s) the visitor can open.
Configure the time range when the visitor can open doors.

Click Submit and tap Share Key to share the key through the desired method. Please note that the WhatsApp Business option is currently ONLY supported on Android phones.
