Web call enables you to make calls on the device's web interface. It can be used to test remotely whether devices can make calls normally.
The routes to make web calls may vary by model.
Models | Routes |
---|---|
S539/S532/X915/X912 | System > Maintenance > Web Call |
R29 | Upgrade > Advanced > Web Call |
R28/R27/R20 Series/E21 | Intercom > Basic > Web Call |
E12/DB01 | Upgrade > Diagnose > Web Call |
S567/S563/C319/S565 | Contacts > Local Contacts > Dial Number |
In this article, we take R29 as an example.
Steps
Log into the device's web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.
Go to Upgrade > Advanced > Web Call interface. Enter the SIP number or IP number.
Note
To make IP calls, make sure:
The calling and called devices are within the same local network.
Direct IP call feature is enabled on both sides. It is enabled by default.
You may refer to the video Make Direct IP Call on Akuvox Door Phones in Make Calls for detailed configuration routes.
Select the registered SIP account to make the call. If both accounts are registered and you select Auto, calls will be made by Account 1.
Tip

Click Dial Out to make the call and end the session by clicking Hang Up.
