Monitor Configuration

On Akuvox indoor monitors, you can not only add Akuvox door phones to obtain live stream for monitoring and intercom previewing, but add third-party cameras to expand the monitoring range and see who is calling from multiple angles, which enhances security.

In this article, we take the indoor monitor C313 for example to show you the steps of adding third-party cameras.

Add Camera on the Device Web Interface

1. Log into the device web interface. The default username and password are admin.
2. Navigate to Phone > Monitor and configure the following parameters.

• Device Number: Number the device.
• Device Name: Enter the desired device name to be displayed on the monitor screen and to be distinguished from other devices.
• Display in Call: Tick the box to display the live stream during a call.

3. Click on Add.

The camera is added successfully.

Add Camera on the Device Screen

1. On the device screen, go to More > Settings > Advance > Door Station. The default password to enter the advanced settings screen is 123456.

2. Press the Add icon on the upper right corner and configure relevant parameters.

• Device Name: Enter the desired device name to be displayed on the monitor screen and to be distinguished from other devices.
• Number: Number the device.
• Display in Call: Tick the box to display the live stream during a call.

3. Press on the upper right corner. The camera is added successfully on the Door Station screen.

To see the live stream through the third-party camera, press Monitor on the device's home screen.
