5.4 Parameter Setting Interface “Proximity sensor”

Prev Next

The Proximity sensor parameter page (Figure 5.4.1) is used to configure proximity detection functions.

Figure 5.4.1 “Proximity sensor" Interface

  • Set the sensitivity of proximity sensor

Sets the sensitivity level of the proximity sensor.

Lower values indicate higher sensitivity, which may increase the risk of false triggering.

Options: 0…15

  • Function of Proximity retrigger

Defines whether retriggering is enabled.

When enabled, a new detection during the active period restarts the timing.

Options:

  • disable

  • Enable

  • Delay time of Proximity sensor, Base * Factor [1…255]

Defines the delay time after motion is detected.

Delay time = Base × Factor.

Base options:

  • 100ms

  • 1s

  • 10s

  • 1min

  • 1h

Factor options:

  • 1…255

  • Interval time of value cyclic.send, Base * Factor [1…255]

Defines the interval for cyclic transmission of values (1bit or 1byte) to the bus.

Cycle time = Base × Factor.

Base options:

  • 100ms

  • 1s

  • 10s

  • 1min

  • 1h

Factor options:

  • 1…255

  • If proximity start/over, value send mode

Defines how values are sent when motion is detected and when motion ends.

Options:

  • No send

  • Send one time

  • Send cyclically: The value is sent cyclically according to the interval defined above. The transmitted value is configured using the parameters below.

  • 1bit [0…1]/1byte [0…255]

Defines the values sent for 1bit and 1byte proximity objects.
