6.7.3 Communication Objects of “Format convert” Function

The “2x1bit --> 1x2bit” function: Converts two 1-bit values into a 2-bit value.
For example, if input bit1 = 1 and bit0 = 0, then output 2 and bit = 2.

The “8x1bit --> 1x1byte” function: Converts eight 1-bit values into a single 1-byte value.
For example, if input bit3 = 1, bit2 = 1, bit1 = 1, bit0 = 1, and the other bits are 0, then output 1byte = 15.

The “1x1byte --> 1x2byte” function: Converts a single 1-byte value into a 2-byte value.
For example, if input 1byte = 125, then output 2-byte = 125. Although the value remains the same, its data type has changed.

The “2x1byte --> 1x2byte” function: Converts two 1-byte values into a single 2-byte value.
For example, if input 1byte-low = 255 ($255) and 1byte-high = 100 ($64), then output: 2byte = 25855 ($64 FF).

The “2x2byte --> 1x4byte” function: Converts two 2-byte values into a single 4-byte value.
For example, if input 2byte-low = 65530 ($F FA) and 2byte-high = 32768 ($80 00), then output 2byte = 2147549178 ($80 00 FF FA).

The “1x1byte --> 8x1bit” function: converts a single 1-byte value into eight 1-bit values.
For example, if input 1byte = 200, then output: bit0 = 0, bit1 = 0, bit2 = 0, bit3 = 1, bit4 = 0, bit10 = 0, bit6 = 1, bit7 = 1.

The “1x2byte --> 2x1byte” function: Converts a single 2-byte value into two 1-byte values.
For example, if input 2byte = 55500 ($D8 CC), then output 1byte-low = 204 ($CC) and 1byte-high = 216 ($D8)

The “1x4byte --> 2x2byte” function: Converts a single 4-byte value into two 2-byte values.
For example, if input 4byte = 78,009,500 ($04 A6 54 9C), then output 2byte-low = 21,660 ($54 9C) and 2byte-high = 1,190 ($04 A6)

The “1x3byte --> 3x1byte” function: Converts a single 3-byte value into three 1-byte values. For example, if Input 3byte = $7864C8, then output 1byte-low = 200 ($C8), 1byte-middle = 100 ($64), and 1byte-high = 120 ($78)

The “3x1byte --> 1x3byte” function: Converts three 1-byte values into a single 3-byte value. For example, if input 1byte-low = 150 ($96), 1byte-middle = 100 ($64), and 1byte-high = 50 ($32), then output 3byte = $326496.
