On the door phones X912, R27, and R28, you can add admin cards to open doors and manage access methods.
This article takes X912 as an example.
Enter Card Adding Screen
Add the admin card on the device’s Advanced Settings screen.
Press
on the device screen or keypad.
Enter the system PIN, which is 2396 by default. Press
on the keypad for confirmation.
Tap Advanced Settings and then Admin Access.
Add Cards
Tap Modify Admin Card and then Add Admin Card.
2. Place the card on the screen area and it will appear "Adding card succeeded" after successful adding.

Check the Admin Card
You can check the card code on the device’s web interface.
Use the device IP to log into its web interface. The default username and password are both admin.
Go to the Directory > User interface and you will see the newly added card.
Modify Access Methods with the Admin Card
After adding the card, you can directly swipe the card to open doors. Or, swipe the card to modify access methods.
Tap
+3888+ to enter the Access Method Settings screen.
Tap the desired method and swipe the admin card for authentication.
Modify the code and tap Confirm.
