Configure LED Screen Display on R29

Prev Next

The R29 can connect to LED displays through the RS485 interface to provide real-time parking information, including license plate recognition results, access prompts, and available parking spaces.

The LED display content varies depending on the parking scenario. For example, it can display the recognized license plate during vehicle entry/exit, display access result prompts, or show the number of available parking spaces.

Prerequisites

Before configuring the LED display, make sure the following requirements are met:

  • R29 firmware version 29.30.10.740 or later.

  • R29 has been added to the SmartPlus Cloud with Smart Parking configured.

  • The LED display screen is physically connected to the R29 through RS485.

  • Supported LED display screen brands: Wuxi Opto and SNT.

Configure LED Display Connection

The R29 supports connection to up to five LED displays through RS485. Each LED display must be configured with a unique RS485 address.
