Configure Network APN for an E18 LTE

Access Point Names(APNs) allow the device to connect to a mobile network and access the internet. When you insert a SIM card into the device, the device uses the APN settings provided by your mobile carrier to connect to the internet.

Steps

1. Log into the Settings screen by long-pressing the middle of the screen.

2. Enter the system password and press Confirm. The default password is admin.

3. Press the Network icon.

4. Ensure that the Cellular Network is enabled.

Note

If you have a 4G icon with a red cross in the top right corner but your signal strength is Good, then you’ll need to enter the APN settings for your SIM Card. This information is provided by the network carrier.

5. Press Access Point Names and enter the settings from your network provider.

These can be found from the network provider of your SIM Card, you may have different options for PAYG or Contract sims.

6. Click Save once these have been entered.

   You may need to reboot the device once the APN settings have been entered.
