Configure Speed Dial for X915, X912 and E18 (Cloud)

Speed dial allows users to make speedy calls by pressing a specific tab without entering any numbers.

Configuration on the SmartPlus Cloud Platform

Note

Ensure you have added the devices to the SmartPlus Cloud and they are online.

When adding or editing the device, you can configure the contact display that decides which contacts will receive the speed dial call.

Then, you need to configure the Speed Dial button on the device’s web interface.

Configuration on X915

1. Log into the device’s web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.

2. Navigate to the web Setting > Key/Display interface and select Building theme.

3. Scroll to Key In Homepage Of The Building Theme, and select the Speed Dial button to be displayed in the desired area.

   You can name the button in the Label field. If left blank, the default will be Reception.

4. Go to Speed Dial Setting, and select the desired option.

• Disabled:

  • When the door phone is installed in the Public Area, the call will be made to all devices installed in the Public Area.

  • When the door phone is installed in the public area of a building and you select Only APT Numbers for the Contact Display Setting, the SmartPlus App of the master account will receive the call. Or, the intercom devices in the same area and the Public Area will receive the call.

• [Cloud Group Name]: the call will be made to all contacts in the group. The Cloud group name is the APT name.

5. Click Submit to save the configuration.

Configuration on X912

1. Log into the device’s web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.

2. Navigate to the web Setting > Key/Display interface and select the Default(Buttons) theme.

3. Select the Speed Dial button to be displayed in the desired area and select the APT name in the Number field.

   You can name the button in the Name field. If left blank, the default will be Reception.

4. Click Submit to save the configuration.

Configuration on E18

1. Log into the device’s web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.

2. Navigate to the web Device > LCD interface and select the Default theme.

3. Select the Speed Dial button to be displayed in the desired area and select the APT name in the Value field.

   You can name the button in the Name field. If left blank, the default will be Reception.

4. Click Submit to save the configuration.

After configuration, users can press the Speed Dial button to call Cloud contacts.
