You can set the intercom preview feature on Akuvox indoor monitors to see who is calling from the third-party camera.
Tip
- Before configuring the intercom preview feature, you need to add a third-party camera on the indoor monitor. Please read the article Monitor Configuration for detailed steps.
In this article, we take indoor monitor C313 for example.
- Log into the device web interface. The default username and password are admin.
- Navigate to Phone > Intercom interface to enable or disable intercom preview.
Note
- Routes vary by models.
- Select Enabled for the third-party camera without RTSP feature.
- Select Disabled for the third-party camera with RTSP feature.
Note
- Third-party cameras without RTSP feature do not support for obtaining real-time audio or video. They cannot provide live stream for intercom preview. When Enabled is selected, the device will answer calls automatically and what you see on the call-receiving screen is not a preview but the real-time video call stream.
- Third-party cameras with RTSP feature support for obtaining real-time audio or video. They can provide live stream for intercom preview. When Disabled is selected, the device will not answer calls automatically and present a real intercom preview.
- Click Submit to save the configuration.
You can see the preview on the incoming call screen.
