Note
Power up the devices before resetting them through the physical buttons.
The reset button does not work when devices are in engineering mode.
S539, S535, S532, X916 and X912
Hold the reset button with a pin, and the device will be reset.
X912/X910: Hold the reset button for about 3 seconds. The backlight of the card reader area will light up. Then, the device will go into factory reset and reboot.
X916/S535: Hold the reset button for about 3 seconds. The backlight of the card reader area and the fill light will light up. Then, the device will go into factory reset and reboot.
S532: Hold the reset button for about 3 seconds. The device will go into factory reset and reboot.

X915, E12 and DB01
Insert a PIN into the hole and hold it to reset the device.
X915: Hold the reset button for about 3 seconds. The backlight of the card reader area and fill light will light up, and the device goes into factory reset and reboot.
E12: Hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. The LED light, fill light, and card reader’s light will all light up, and the device goes into factory reset and reboot. After rebooting, the LED light remains blue.


E18, E20 and E21
Remove the back cover of the door phones.
E18:
When the device screen does not light up, hold the white button for about 3-5 seconds.
When the device is in a normal working state, hold the white button for about 8-10 seconds.
The backlight and white fill light in the card reader area of the device light up simultaneously for 1 second. Then, the device will go into a factory reset and reboot.
E20: Press the reset button(about 5 seconds) until the device plays a beep. Then, the device will go into factory reset and reboot.
E21: Press the reset button(about 10 seconds) until the device plays a beep. Then, the device will go into factory reset and reboot.



E16V2, R27, R28, R29, R25 Series and R20 Series
E16, R27, R28, R29, R20 series, and R20-2 do NOT support resetting by pressing physical buttons.
R20 series, R20-2 series, R25 series, E12, R27, and R28 support resetting by short-circuiting the input.

Note
To reset the device via input shorting, the device button must be pressed simultaneously while powering on.
