Set Device's Web Password via One-time Password

Akuvox devices’ web passwords are used to access their web settings. You can reset the password using a one-time password generated on the SmartPlus Cloud.

Note

  • The device should be connected to the SmartPlus Cloud.

  • The device MAC address should be added to the MAC library of your distributor account.

  • The following models with specific firmware versions or higher support this feature:

    E16 V2.0: 216.30.10.109

Configuration

This article takes X915 V2 as an example.

  1. Access the device’s web login interface by entering its IP in a browser.

  2. Click Forget Password and click Request for one-time password.

  1. Copy the Verification Code.

  1. Log in to the SmartPlus Cloud platform with a distributor account.

  2. Select Project Device(Communities and Offices) or Personal Device(Single-family projects) on the left column.

  3. Click One-time Password on the right.

  1. Paste the Verification Code and click Generate.

  1. Copy the one-time password.

  1. Enter the username “admin” and paste the one-time password on the device’s login interface.

  1. Click Login. The new password setup window will pop up.
