Set up Emergency Action

The emergency action feature automatically opens all doors when an emergency alarm is triggered by any door phone, ensuring quick evacuation.

It also supports:

• Manual door control via the cloud

• Indoor monitor alarm notification

• SmartPlus App push notifications

• EC33 elevator floor release (if configured)

Configuration logic is the same. Differences are limited to:

• Compatible models & firmware

• Account role (Property Manager / Project Manager)

Indoor Monitors

The minimum firmware requirements for indoor monitors are identical for Community and Commercial projects. Therefore, only one version list is provided below.

Configuration

Step 1: Set up Emergency Action

1. Log in to the cloud platform with your PM account.

2. Click Settings in the left column.

3. Select automatic door unlock or manual unlock.

• Select On to open doors automatically when an emergency occurs.

• Select Off to open doors manually on the SmartPlus web portal. You can click Unlock/Lock near the top of any interface to open or close doors manually.

4. Set the Emergency Door Group. You can select All Doors or specific doors to open during an emergency.

5. Set whether to Unlock All Floors when Emergency Alarm is Triggered. This option works with Akuvox EC33 elevator control device. When an emergency alarm occurs, all floors controlled by EC33 will be released.

6. Enable Send Emergency Notifications to Users When Lock/Unlock Emergency Door Group when indoor monitors support sounding an alarm when an emergency unlock happens.

7. Click Submit.

Step 2: Set up Door Phones

Take the door phone R20A V5.0 as an example.

1. Use the device IP to log into its web interface. The initial username and password are admin.

2. Click System > Security. Check the input(s) that are connected to the alarm sensor.

3. Click Submit.

4. Make sure the input is enabled on the Access Control > Input interface.

Step 3: Verification

After configuration, doors in the emergency door group will be opened when the alarm sensor is triggered.

The indoor monitor will display a prompt and sound an alarm for 30 seconds.

Manual Control

You can also open or close doors manually by clicking Unlock/Lock.

• Emergency Door Group: Open/close doors in the emergency door group.

• Select Doors: Open/close specific doors.

A pop-up window will inform you whether the doors are opened successfully.
