Article Summary

The break-in intrusion feature makes door phones sound alert and sends notifications to designated personnel when the door is forced open.

Note

  • The following models support this feature:

    S539, X916, X915 V1/V2, and R29.

  • Make sure you have configured the input before enabling the break-in intrusion.

  • How to define the door is forced open?

    • Normal door opening: The relay is triggered before the input is triggered and the door is opened.

    • Abnormal door opening: The input is triggered and the door is opened before the relay is triggered.

This article takes R29 as an example.

  1. Log into the device’s web interface with the username and password. The default is admin.

  2. Navigate to the Intercom > Input interface.

  3. Enable the Break-in Intrusion.

  4. Enable the desired action to be executed.

  • FTP: Send a screenshot to the preconfigured FTP server.

  • Email: Send a screenshot to the preconfigured Email address.

  • SIP Call: Call the preset number upon the trigger.

  • HTTP: When triggered, the HTTP message can be captured and displayed in the corresponding packets. To utilize this feature, enable the HTTP server and enter the message content in the designated box below.

  • TFTP: Send a screenshot to the preconfigured TFTP server. The format is http://HTTP server’s IP/Message content.

  • Voice: When triggered, the door phone will play the customized prompt instead of the default one. To enable the custom audio prompt, upload the audio file at Phone > Import/Export > Upload Tone interface.

  1. Click Submit to save the settings.

When the door is forced open, an alarm will be triggered.

If you want to disarm the alarm, disable break-in intrusion on the web interface or enter the disarm code.

The disarm code can be configured on the Security > Basic > Disarm Setting interface or Disarm screen.
