The integration of the akubela SL50 with SmartPlus enhances home security and access control. You can securely unlock the smart lock remotely using the SmartPlus App and various access methods.
Note
The SmartPlus App version should be 7.20.3 for iOS and 7.20.0003 for Android or higher.
ONLY community and single-family house residents can use the feature.
Only with the family master accounts can you add the lock. You can add it via a QR code or hotspot.
Add the Lock
Tap Me > Device Management > Smart Locks.

Tap + in the upper-right corner.
Select the lock model: SL50.

Set the lock to the pairing mode.

The * white light stays on after the lock enters pairing mode.
Choose the desired configuration method.
Tap Next to add the lock via a QR code.
Tap Hotspot Configuration to add the lock via the hotspot.
Add the lock via QR Code
Select the Wi-Fi and enter its password to provide the network to the lock.
Tap Connect, and a QR code is generated.
Scan the QR code by placing it in front of the lock’s camera at a distance of 10-15cm.
After hearing the beep sound from the lock, check 3 intermittent beeps have been heard before tapping Next Step.

Tap Next Step. It may take some time to finish adding. After that, adding successfully will display.
Add the lock via Hotspot
Connect your mobile phone to a hotspot called SL50_[The lock’s MAC]. You can tap Go Immediately to redirect to the Wi-Fi connection page.
Tap Next.
Select the Wi-Fi and enter its password to provide the network to the lock.
Tap Connect.
It may take some time to finish adding. After that, adding successfully will display.
Set up the Lock
Tap Me > Device Management > Smart Locks > [the lock name]. Once the lock is offline, you cannot change its settings.
You can:
Change the lock name.
Link it to a door phone’s relay. Whether the lock is linked to relays determines how it is unlocked. See the Unlock the Lock sections for details.
Note
You can ONLY link the lock to relays of the door phone that is installed at your apartment door if you are a community resident.
Select the language. Voice prompts will be played in the chosen language.
Support English, Simplified Chinese, Persian, Arabic, Spanish, and Japanese.
Set the volume of the lock: High, Medium, Low, and Mute.
Set the Stay Alarm feature. When enabled, you can set:
The Stay Duration: Short(15s), Medium(20s), and Long(20s).
The Monitoring Scope: Large(1m) and Small(0.5m).
Enable/disable Two-factor Authentication that requires the combination of two access methods for door opening.
Change its connected Wi-Fi.
Check the lock’s information. On the info page, you can check the lock’s version, battery level, and upgrade it.
Delete the lock.

Unlock the Lock
The Lock Is NOT Linked
When it is not linked to a relay, it will display on the app homepage.
You can directly tap Unlock or tap Unlock on its monitoring page.

If the lock is not connected to Wi-Fi, it will display the Setting Wi-Fi icon. Tap to set up the network connection.

The Lock is Linked
When the lock is linked to a door phone’s relay, it will be unlocked with the relay trigger and not display on the app’s homepage.
Unlock on the SmartPlus Homepage
You can tap
to open the door phone’s relay. At the same time, the akubela lock is unlocked.

Unlock on the Calling and Monitoring Page
Tap Unlock on the Calling and Monitoring page to unlock the akubela lock.
You can switch to the lock’s monitor view by tapping Switch Monitor.

Unlock by the Door Phone Supported Methods
You can use the device-supported access methods for unlocking.

Note
The access methods supported by the device vary by model. For example, some models do not support opening doors via Bluetooth.
If you want to learn what access methods are supported by your device, please refer to the product datasheet or admin guide.
Sync PIN to Open Locks
When the app’s version is 7.32.2(iOS)/7.32.0002(Android) or higher, the added PIN will be automatically synchronized to the lock for door access.
You can add or modify the PIN on the Me > Authorization > Door Release PIN page. It should be 6 to 8 digits for unlocking the SL50.

Receive Notifications from the Lock
You can receive the following types of notifications from the lock.
The battery level is lower than 15%, 10%, and 5%.
Enter the wrong passwords for consecutive 5 times.
A visitor rings the doorbell.
The tamper alarm is triggered.
The loitering alarm is triggered.
